July 6, 2004 -- On Sunday, August 1st, the Amherst East, Amherst North, Amherst South, and Williamsville Rotary clubs will host their first annual Classic Car Show at the Amherst Pepsi Center. Weve created an event that will please the whole family, said Richard A. Wojtowicz, car show expert, and member of the Rotary Classic Car Show committee. Well serve Krolicks chicken dinners and other refreshments, have lots of classic cars to view, and plenty of activities for kids. Sunday, August 1st, also is National KidsDay.
At the car show, Sabres fans can enter to win the Sabres Mini Cooper, which will be on display. The Buffalo Sabres lovable mascot, Sabretooth, will be at the Rotary car show. Sabretooth will entertain show attendees and encourage Sabres fans 18 and over to register to become a Sabres Insider. By registering at the Classic Car Show, fans will be qualified automatically to win the Mini Cooper at the Sabres September drawing. No purchase is necessary to enter.
The Buffalo Sabres, in partnership with the Towne Automotive Group and Towne Mini, recently kicked off the Summer Tour for the Mini Cooper Sabres Insider campaign. The Sabres home page, www.sabres.com, has updates on the tour itinerary.
